DESCRIPTION:
This tour blends calm waters with a bit of canyon adventure. Launch from Wahweap Bay and paddle across tranquil water as you make your way toward one of Lake Powell’s hidden treasures—the stunning “Teacups,” a secluded area known for its surreal rock formations, natural potholes, and desert magic.
Once we land, enjoy a scenic hike that includes light scrambling over sandstone ledges to reach the Teacups. These unique formations are tucked away in the backcountry and offer a striking contrast to the open bay—quiet, wild, and absolutely photo-worthy. Your guide will share stories about the area's geology and local history as you explore.
Expect a fun mix of mellow paddling and moderate hiking that’s perfect for those looking to step a little off the beaten path—without going full-on rugged. This tour is ideal for curious adventurers who don’t mind using their hands now and then. Depending on the season, we stop for a refreshing swim on the way back.
