Tour FAQ – Paddle Express Adventures
Ready to hit the water on one of our unforgettable tours? Here’s everything you need to know before you go!
Where do we meet?
All tours meet at the bottom of the Antelope Point Public Launch Ramp. Take Hwy 98 east to N22B, follow the road all the way to the end, and park in the designated public lot. From there, walk down the ramp to meet your guide near the truck and kayak staging area.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. This allows time for Paddle Talk, a quick safety briefing and gear orientation before we head out.
If you arrive late and miss Paddle Talk, you may be:
-Moved to the next available tour, if there’s room
-Or offered a self-guided rental instead, if no tour spots remain
We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable experience—timing is important!
What’s included in a tour?
All guided tours include:
-Kayak or paddleboard
-Paddle
-Life jacket (PFD)
-Expert guide
-Paddle Talk safety & technique briefing

We recommend bringing:
-Water (required – hydration is key!)
-Sunscreen

Is this beginner friendly?
Yes! Our guides are experienced and trained to make sure beginners feel confident on the water. We keep a casual pace and plenty of time for breaks, photos, and learning.
What if the weather is bad or we need to cancel?
Life happens! We offer no-questions-asked full refunds for cancellations due to:
-Weather
-Illness
-Travel delays
(Please note: Indexic booking fees are non-refundable.)

RENTALS (FAQ)
Welcome to Paddle Express! Below are some quick answers to help you prepare for your adventure.
Where do we meet?
All tours and rentals meet at the bottom of the Antelope Point Public Launch Ramp. Follow Hwy 98 to N22B and continue all the way to the end of the road. Parking is in the designated public lot, and you’ll walk down the ramp to find us near the truck and kayak staging area.
What’s included with my rental?
Your rental includes:
Kayak or paddleboard
Paddle
Life jacket (PFD)
Free delivery & pickup right at the launch ramp
How long is a half-day or full-day rental?
Half-Day: 4 hours
Full-Day: 8 hours
We recommend allowing about 4 hours for a typical paddle and hike into Antelope Canyon.
Can I bring my pet?
Yes! Pets are welcome on rentals only—not on guided tours. Your pet must wear a lifejacket, and you’ll need to ensure they’re comfortable on the water.
What if I’m late?
Please check in via text 60 minutes before your reservation time. Rentals start at time reserved and will be due back within the scheduled time.
Do you allow refunds or cancellations?
Absolutely. We offer refunds for cancellations due to weather, illness, or travel delays. No questions asked—just let us know as soon as possible. (Please note: Indexic booking fees are non-refundable.)
What should I bring? We recommend:
Water & snacks
Sunscreen & a hat
Quick-dry clothing or swimsuit
Water shoes or sandals
A small dry bag for personal items
Your camera (the views are worth it!)
Can I request a sit-on-top kayak?
Yes! We use sit-inside kayaks by default, but you can request a sit-on-top kayak at booking. Just be sure to note your preference.
Are tandem kayaks available?
Yes, but tandem kayaks are strictly for 2 people only—no exceptions. For safety reasons, we cannot allow 3 passengers (even with small children) in a tandem kayak.
