This laid-back tour is perfect for beginners or those looking for a more relaxing adventure. Launch from the Wahweap area and paddle across calm flat water in Wahweap Bay toward the scenic shores of Wahweap Window. Enjoy big open water views with landmarks like Castle Rock, Tower Butte, and the Grand Staircase–Escalante visible throughout the journey.

Once we land, enjoy a sandy beach hike to the Wahweap Window, where the views open up into a breathtaking desert panorama. There’s plenty of time to soak in the scenery, take some photos, and even cool off with a swim at the end, depending on the season. The hike is easy and beginner-friendly, making this a great option for families or guests looking to avoid the scramble of more advanced tours.

This 3-mile paddle and short hike combo lasts around 3.5–4 hours total and includes light, fun conversation, some paddling tips along the way, and a chill vibe from start to finish. Whether you’re starting your day with the 8am mellow tour, or catching golden hour on the 3pm sunset tour, you’ll leave with beautiful photos and great memories.
