When we first launched Paddle Express, we didn’t set out to build a business — we set out to share what we love most: the incredible beauty of Lake Powell and the joy of connecting with people through adventure.
We’re a small, family-run operation based in the heart of the Southwest. Our story started long before the name “Paddle Express” ever came to life — in the quiet moments before sunrise when the lake is glassy, and the canyon walls glow like fire. Over time, we realized those moments shouldn’t be kept to ourselves.

Family Values on the Water
At Paddle Express, we treat every guest like family. We don’t rush, we don’t overbook, and we don’t cut corners. Every trip is personal. Our guides are experienced outdoor professionals who have spent years leading scenic tours, primitive survival experiences, and technical canyoneering expeditions. But what matters most to us is creating connection; between you, nature, and the people you share your paddle with.
We’ve spent over a decade in the outdoor industry and proudly hold a flawless safety record. No injuries, no drama; just pure, mindful adventure. We believe safety and comfort build confidence, and confidence builds joy.
The Paddle Express Difference
There are plenty of ways to see Antelope Canyon; but none quite like this. We combine peaceful paddling with guided hiking to let you experience the canyon from two perspectives. As the kayak glides over still water, the sandstone begins to tell its story, and when your feet hit the canyon floor, you’re walking through millions of years of geologic art.
We’re not a big corporate outfit. We’re your neighbors, your local friends, and your fellow wanderers. Each tour supports our family and our community; from the guides who share the stories to the small-town businesses we partner with.
At Paddle Express, adventure isn’t just what we do. It’s who we are.
So welcome — not just to our business, but to our family.
